went out with B&P. xiang had to do some shopping.
and so we had dinner over at tiantian steamboat in bugis.
and of course our favourite, cam-whoring.

my class had the 1st half commskills presentation.
my classmates were great. weicheng's and clover's presentation left me a huge impression.
since young, i've always wanted to join wushu. but i didn't get a chance. so weicheng's presentation makes me understand more bout the different kinds of wushu.
as for clover's movie introduction, it sounds pretty interesting, makes me wanna watch the show.
i love chicheng's presentation the most! it really touched me. it talks about volunteer work in old folk's home. about M.A.D, which means making a difference.
M.A.D in other people's live, bringing a smile on the old folks. is the happiest thing. getting your clothes dirty without complaining because you are willing to help the folks. spend time with them, chat with them, accompany them. share your love with them :) he also printed out a simple handsign handout for the class to learn sign language. that was great! :)

here, i have a little story of mine to share with you guys.
i remembered there was once. i helped out in the old folk's care center. it was a school programme. so our whole class went there. than i was with this old grandma. she has a little hearing problem and difficulty speaking but she was very kind. and i can see that she's very happy that there's someone to accompany her. she was holding on to my hand. she kept saying i look like her granddaughter. and she longed to see her one day. she touched my hand very softly. and i just sit with her. listening as she speaks slowly to me. than it was time for her to go home. but she still never let go of my hand. she was grabbing onto it. holding it, until i send her up the car. she said bye to me. with tears in her eyes. and i said bye to her, with tears in my eyes too. i cried. i was sad. i could feel the loneliness in her. the hope to see her granddaughter.
when i got up my school bus. i was still crying. so i told myself. if ever i have the spare time. i wanna share my love with those elderly again. i want to see them smile. i never knew my presence made such difference. now i know. i made the grandma happy for the day.

i grew up in my grams house(mum's side). they doted on me. they gained my respect to them.
